Scanner Data Arrival

Last modified by Steffi F on 2025/05/12 08:26

To ensure that the data from the different scanners is entered into the ACMP database, the Scanner Data Arrival is executed for each available scanner.
Only the data for one client is updated at a time.

Deviation in the Virtualization Scanner

Because the Virtualization Scanner reads the Hyper-V Guest in addition to the actual Clients, and automatically creates it as a Manual Client if a corresponding Client is detected, the Virtualization Scanner changes the values not only of one Client, but of all Hyper-V Guests. In this way, the Scanner Data Arrival is able to update all involved Clients for the Virtualization Scanner. The following updates are possible

  • Former guest and host links from the scanned client
  • Formerly linked clients from detected guests
  • Hyper-V host with current guests

Hinweis  Note:

If a detected Hyper-V guest is a manual Client, the network cards of the guest are also changed.

Hinweis  Note:

Please note that the Hyper-V Scanner is only available from Windows Server 2012 onwards.
