Installation rules

On this page, you can add installation rules that allow you to specify on which Clients the ACMP Agent should be installed automatically.
If you select an existing installation rule, its complete content will be displayed on the right side.

Hinweis  Note:  

​If you have defined different installation rules, the rules are processed from top to bottom. Customize the order using the corresponding arrows.

Add installation rule

To add a new installation rule, click the Add icon in the ribbon bar. Now assign a name and an optional description and specify whether this installation rule should be activated. On the following page, you define the filter. To create the filter, you can use fields that the user cannot influence. On the final page, specify the installation account that you want to use for installations with this installation rule and then click OK.

Edit installation rule

To edit an installation rule, select it and choose Edit in the ribbon bar. You can now customize all values of the installation rule.

Delete installation rule

To delete an installation rule, select it and choose Delete in the ribbon bar.

Hinweis  Note:  

Please note that an installation rule only takes effect if it is activated. You can activate the installation rule when adding and editing, or by activating the checkbox in front of the desired installation rule in the overview.
