Changing Settings via the Configuration File (Config.xml)

The settings in ACMP are organized into various sections that you can configure.

In addition, you can change settings directly via the configuration file.

Changing Settings via the Configuration File (Config.xml)

In addition to the settings you can customize directly in the ACMP Console, others can only be customized via a configuration file. This section lists the configuration options that can only be customized via config.xml. If the values for a section can be customized in a full manner via the ACMP Console, that section is not listed here.

Warning:

Customizations to the configuration file directly affect the functions and appearance of the ACMP Console. Therefore, be sure to create an unmodified backup copy before you begin customizing it!

Storage location

Note:

To customize the configuration file, you must exit the ACMP Server service!
Note that the configuration file is only located here if the ACMP Server service has been exited.

The configuration file is located in the following directory:

%ProgramData%\Aagon\ACMP\Server\Config\%ServerId%\Config.xml

The %ServerID% is unique to each installation and can be found in the Server.ini file in the server directory.

Sections

The configuration file is divided into several sections so that you can quickly find and customize the function you're looking for.

ClientConfig

CanAbortShutdownJobs	true false	true	Specifies whether users can cancel jobs during shutdown in the shutdown dialog. If the value is false, the jobs start immediately without a delay.
WUSPort	Integer	8530	The port on which the Client listens for Windows Update requests.

AllowedFileSizeDelta	Kilobyte	0	Schwellwert der beim Dateigrößenvergleich erlaubt ist, bis die Datei als unterschiedlich gilt. Wenn Quell- und Zieldatei auf unterschiedlichen Dateisystemen liegen, kann es vorkommen das die API, aufgrund von unterschiedlicher Blockgröße, unterschiedliche Dateigrößen angibt.
EnableUncCopyResumption	true false	true	Standardmäßig ist der Wert auf true gesetzt, wodurch sich der Sync Service wie bisher verhält. Ist der Wert auf false, werden die Dateien nicht mehr zunächst als part~-Datei geschrieben und dann umbenannt, sondern direkt als Zieldatei geschrieben. Bei dem false ist kein Resume mehr möglich, wenn eine Datei zuvor nicht vollständig übertragen wurde (unvollständige Dateien werden immer erneut vollständig übertragen). Version note: Dieser Wert ist erst mit der ACMP Version 6.9.2 verfügbar.
